Walkthrough overview

    Talk to King Roald in Varrock Palace to start. Travel east of Varrock through the gate near the Earth Altar to the temple, and a voice asks you to kill a dog in the nearby mausoleum.

    Climb down the trapdoor north of the temple and kill the level-30 temple guardian dog (safespot or flinch; Magic doesn't work).

  3. 3

    Return to King Roald, who is furious that the dog guarded the mausoleum. Grab a bucket from the palace bedroom or general store, then head back to the temple.

    Kill a Monk of Zamorak for a golden key, climb to the top floor and talk to Drezel through the bars. Fill the bucket with water to bless the river, then hand over 50 rune or pure essence to complete the quest.
