The western part of Ardougne has been shut off as a deadly plague sweeps through the people. However, a young woman who went in to try to help those stricken by the illness has disappeared and her parents have become worried.

Walkthrough overview

    Talk to Edmond behind his house north of Ardougne Castle, then his wife Alrena. Give her dwellberries and she makes you a gas mask (spares are in the cupboard).

    Pour buckets of water onto the mud in Edmond's plot to soften the ground, then use a spade to dig and a rope to climb down under the West Ardougne wall.

    Inside West Ardougne, show Jethick the picture of Elena and take his book. Visit the Rehnison house and talk to the family, including Milli upstairs, to learn about Elena.

    Go to the large building north of the manhole to reach Bravek, who is too hung over to help. Make the hangover cure: grind the chocolate bar into dust with a knife or pestle and mortar, add it to the bucket of milk, then add snape grass.

    Give Bravek the hangover cure and tell him the mourners won't listen. He grants a warrant to enter the plague house, where you find Elena and complete the quest.
