Otto Godblessed has been researching his history and training people in the ways of his ancestors, and now he's ready to teach you. From his hut on the banks of the lake at the top of Baxtorian Falls, you'll go Fishing with your bare hands, mix fish eggs into your potions, wield one-handed spears and, finally, go deep into the ancient cavern beneath the lake.

Talk to Otto Godblessed in his grotto atop Baxtorian Falls and choose the dialogue to begin the miniquest. Each of the five skill trainings can then be done in any order.

Fishing: search under Otto's bed for a barbarian rod, fish leaping fish with fishing bait or feathers, and gut them with a knife for roe and caviar. Ask about barehanded fishing to also learn to fish without a harpoon.

Firemaking: light oak logs with a bow instead of a tinderbox, then progress to making pyre ships in the Ancient Cavern (using a tinderbox), where mithril dragons drop the chewed bones needed.

Farming: plant a seed in a dibber-type patch without a seed dibber, then plant a sapling and smash the empty pot (spade needed; clear an occupied patch with an axe or 200 coins).

Smithing: after Tai Bwo Wannai Trio, use two metal bars with two matching logs and a hammer on the barbarian anvil to forge a spear and a hasta.
