OSRS TCG The Golem — Old School RuneScape quest card mapping

Start: talk to Clay golem.

Deep in the desert stand the ruins of the once great city of Uzer, where a lone survivor, an ancient clay golem, forever paces back and forth. It is badly damaged, and its mind cannot rest until it has completed the task for which it was created. It is up to you to uncover the secret of the lost city, and add the final chapter to a story started in the violence of the Third Age.

The Golem is a members Old School RuneScape quest rated Intermediate. The OSRS TCG The Golem card list covers 6 of the items and monsters involved, including Pharaoh's sceptre, Bracelet of clay and Vial. This page pairs the quest with those cards and with the open player trades for them; the OSRS Wiki remains the authority on requirements and the walkthrough itself.

Walkthrough overview

A brief summary of the quest, noting where each card is used. The OSRS Wiki has the full, authoritative walkthrough.

  1. 1

Travel to the Ruins of Uzer (necklace of passage to Eagles' Eyrie or fairy ring DLQ) and talk to the broken clay golem. Use soft clay on it to repair it — or mine and soften your own clay with a bracelet of clay and pickaxe.

    • Means to enter the desert
    • Soft clay
    • Bracelet of clay
    • Any pickaxe
  2. 2

The repaired golem asks for help defeating the demon Thammaron. Follow up the letter clue to Elissa in the north-east of the Digsite.

  3. 3

Read Varmen's notes in the Exam Centre, then recover the statuette via Elissa and the Varrock Museum.

  4. 4

Return to Uzer, place the statuette in the alcove and rotate all the statues to face the correct directions to open the demon's lair, revealing Thammaron already dead.

  5. 5

Report back to the golem; as it doesn't believe you, grind a phoenix feather with the pestle and mortar, combine with the vial, and write a new program on papyrus to reprogram it and complete the quest.

    • Papyrus
    • Pestle and mortar
    • Vial
