A long time ago, the citizens of Arceuus house gave up their human bodies and claimed immortality. This event was known as the Ascent of Arceuus and it marked the end of death within Arceuus house. Or so they believed. For the first time in a thousand years, a member of Arceuus house has fallen. You will need to solve the mystery of this death. However, time is of the essence and the fate of Arceuus house lies in your hands.

    Speak to Mori north of the pub in Arceuus, who reports that her friend Thana has died despite the Arceuus family's supposed immortality. Report to Councillor Andrews at Kourend Castle, who declines to help.

    Go to the Tower of Magic west of the Arceuus Library. Kill the five Tormented Souls attacking the mages inside, then speak to Asteros Arceuus upstairs.

    Travel to Mount Karuulm (fairy ring CIR) and enter the Karuulm Slayer Dungeon. Speak to the Tasakaal, who agree to help once they hear the name Arceuus.

    Fight the Trapped Soul as instructed, then head to the Dark Altar north-east of the Arceuus Library and inspect the rocks until you find and smash a strange device.

  5. 5

    Return to the Tower of Magic and speak to Lord Arceuus to complete the quest.
