OSRS TCG Recipe for Disaster — Old School RuneScape quest card mapping

Start: talk to Cook (Lumbridge).

The cook in Lumbridge has a surprisingly small number of ingredients on hand in his kitchen, possibly as a result of an endless stream of newcomers with light fingers, taking anything that isn't nailed down from his kitchen. Luckily, in the past, a kind Cook's Assistant was willing to help him in his culinary duties, but a problem has now appeared that could spell... a Recipe For Disaster! Almost all members may attempt to solve his tricky predicament, and be rewarded accordingly, but only the very elite of Questers will be able to put an end to his problem permanently!

Recipe for Disaster is a members Old School RuneScape quest rated Special. The OSRS TCG Recipe for Disaster card list covers 46 of the items and monsters involved, including Evil Chicken, Black dragon and Monkey Guard. This page pairs the quest with those cards and with the open player trades for them; the OSRS Wiki remains the authority on requirements and the walkthrough itself.

Walkthrough overview

A brief summary of the quest, noting where each card is used. The OSRS Wiki has the full, authoritative walkthrough.

  1. 1

Talk to the Cook in Lumbridge Castle and complete Another Cook's Quest by gathering an eye of newt, Greenman's ale, a rotten tomato and a dirty blast to gain entry to the Feast.

  2. 2

Enter the dining room; the Culinaromancer freezes the council in time, and you must free each member by completing a subquest.

  3. 3

Free the council members through their subquests — Pirate Pete (fishcake), Evil Dave (spicy stew), Lumbridge Guide/Sir Amik Varze, Skrach Uglogwee, Pirate Pete and King Awowogei — gathering the many ingredients and tools listed above.

  4. 4

With every council member freed, follow the Culinaromancer through his portal into his own dimension (no Prayer allowed).

  5. 5

Defeat the five gate bosses — Agrith-Na-Na, Flambeed (ice gloves needed), Karamel, Dessourt and Gelatinnoth Mother — restocking between fights.

  6. 6

Finally defeat the Culinaromancer himself to complete the quest.
