Curator Haig Halen needs your help to finish the construction of a barge fit to take the Varrock museum crew to an unexplored landmass to the east. There have been many attempts to reach the island, but none were successful. This quest will have you venturing across Gielinor, aiding the Varrock museum and making the success of the voyage a possibility.

    Talk to Curator Haig Halen at the Varrock Museum, agree to help with the voyage, and make your way to the Digsite.

  2. 2

    Speak to the barge foreman north of the Digsite, then obtain redwood planks from the Sawmill operator at the Lumber Yard to reinforce the barge.

  3. 3

    Board the barge and speak to the Lead Navigator, who refuses to sail over a supposed curse; go to the Rusty Anchor Inn in Port Sarim for the sailors' advice.

  4. 4

    Prepare a bone charm and brew a potion of sealegs from two vodka and a marrentill potion (unf) to keep the crew safe.

    Give the charm and potion to the navigators; when the crew passes out, steer the barge yourself to reach Fossil Island and finish the quest.
