Hallowed Sepulchre
MembersOld School RuneScape minigame · OSRS TCG card mapping
A timed Agility course through five increasingly hard floors beneath Darkmeyer, racing the clock between magical obelisks while looting the coffins along the way. Coffins are blocked by obstacles gated on other skills, and looting them for hallowed marks — not just finishing the floor — is the only way to earn rewards.
Hallowed Sepulchre is a members Old School RuneScape minigame needing Agility 52, Thieving 66, Construction 56, Prayer 54, Magic 7, Hitpoints and Ranged 62, found at Beneath Darkmeyer, in the north-east of the vampyre city, within Morytania. This page maps Hallowed Sepulchre to the OSRS TCG — the card game played through the RuneLite plugin — listing what you take in, grouped by what each item is for, with every item linked to its card. The OSRS Wiki remains the guide to playing it.

- RequiresAgility 52Hard requirement — the whole Sepulchre is an Agility course, and you cannot enter below it.
- RequiresThieving 66Not an entry gate — the highest of several per-coffin lockpicking thresholds. Each floor's coffins are blocked by different obstacle types with their own minimum, and 66 is only needed for the toughest lock.
- RequiresConstruction 56Same situation as Thieving — the minimum for a plank-and-nail obstacle on one coffin type, not for entering the Sepulchre.
- RequiresPrayer 54The minimum for a specific Prayer-locked coffin obstacle, not an entry gate.
- RequiresMagic 7The minimum for a Magic-locked coffin obstacle — trivially low, and not an entry gate.
- RequiresHitpointsNo numeric gate; a soft flag because failing a coffin or missing a trap damages or poisons you.
- RequiresRanged 62The minimum for a crossbow-locked coffin obstacle, not an entry gate.
- RequiresSins of the FatherRequired to reach Darkmeyer, where the Sepulchre is — no way in without it.
Getting in
The Sepulchre itself has one hard gate: 52 Agility, plus Sins of the Father to reach Darkmeyer at all. The other skill levels on this page — Thieving, Construction, Prayer, Magic, Ranged — aren't entry requirements. They're the minimums for specific obstacles blocking specific coffins, so read them as 'what it takes to loot everything', not 'what it takes to play'.
What each blocked coffin wants
Looting is optional — you can run every floor for pure Agility experience and never touch a coffin — but it's the only way to earn hallowed marks. Each coffin is blocked by one obstacle type, and each type wants a different tool.
- Any ofA lockpick(optional)
Opens Thieving-locked coffins, up to 66 Thieving. The strange old lockpick — itself a Barrows reward — never breaks.
- Any ofA crossbow(optional)
Fires at a Ranged-locked coffin's mechanism, up to 62 Ranged. Any crossbow works; a fast one saves time.
- Any ofA hammer and saw(optional)
The tools for a Construction-locked coffin, up to 56 Construction.
- Any ofPlanks and nails for the same coffins(optional)
- Plank
- orOak plank
- orTeak plank
- orMahogany plank
- orSteel nails
- orMithril nails
- orAdamantite nails
- orRune nails
The tier needed scales with the coffin's Construction level — better planks and nails for the tougher locks.
- OptionalA prayer book
Used at a Prayer-locked coffin, up to 54 Prayer.
- Any ofElemental runes(optional)
For a Magic-locked coffin — a trivial 7 Magic gate, well within a basic elemental spell.
- Any ofA grapple crossbow(optional)
Fires across a specific gap obstacle. The hallowed grapple is itself a Sepulchre reward and is faster to fire than the mith grapple.
Staying on your feet
Traps run in cyclic patterns along every floor, and failing to loot a coffin in time poisons you. Neither is dangerous with the basics.
- OptionalAntipoison
Covers the poison from a failed coffin loot.
Quality-of-life gear
None of this changes what you can loot — it just makes running the floors faster and less fiddly.
- Any ofGraceful pieces(optional)
Standard Agility weight reduction, useful on any timed course.
- Any ofStorage for runes and planks(optional)
Frees inventory space for the tools above instead of carrying them loose.
What hallowed marks buy
Every coffin you loot pays hallowed marks, spent in the Sepulchre's own reward shop.
- Any ofSepulchre reward-shop gear(optional)
- Hallowed ring
- orHallowed hammer
- orHallowed symbol
- orHallowed focus
- orHallowed grapple
- orHallowed crystal shard
- orHallowed sack
Each bought separately with hallowed marks. The ring and the grapple are the two biggest time-savers and the usual first buys.
- Any ofCosmetic extras(optional)
Purely cosmetic reward-shop purchases.
Rare finds
A handful of rewards don't come from the shop at all — they're rare drops from looting itself, or a chance on returning to the lobby.
- Any ofCoffin-only drops(optional)
Rare unique loot from the coffins — the ring reduces run energy drain and can be charged with stamina potions; the page and tome are lore items.
- OptionalGiant squirrel
The Agility pet, won on returning to the lobby via a magical obelisk; the odds improve on harder floors.
