A darkness has fallen over Morytania. The Myreque freedom fighters have achieved their first major victory over the vampyres with the death of Ranis Drakan. However, their newly found hope is unlikely to last. After many years of absence, Lord Lowerniel Drakan, the vampyre overlord of Morytania, has finally emerged from his castle. He has but one goal. To avenge his brother and eradicate the Myreque once and for all.

Walkthrough overview

    Travel to Slepe and speak to Veliaf Hurtz outside the church, then investigate the Sleeper Plague at The Rat & Bat pub, following Carl the barkeep to the dungeon.

    Report back to Veliaf, then head out on the trek toward Darkmeyer, fighting nail beasts and vampyres along the way with your Ivandis flail and an axe.

    At the Icyene Graveyard, meet Vanescula Drakan and agree to the plan to overthrow Lowerniel Drakan.

    Obtain a vyrewatch outfit (or buy the set from Trader Sven for 1,950 coins) and take it to Polmafi Ferdygris to make a vampyre-noble disguise.

    Wear the disguise, pass through the mines into Darkmeyer, and reach the Arboretum to gather Blisterwood.

    At the Myreque Hideout, make a ruby sickle (silver sickle + ruby, chisel), enchant it (Lvl-3 Enchant), craft the Blisterwood sickle with a knife, and upgrade the Ivandis flail into a Blisterwood flail.

    Return to Vanescula combat-ready and defeat Vanstrom Klause (level 459) at Castle Drakan using the Blisterwood flail to finish the quest.
