The Biggest Pulls of OSRS TCG Launch Weekend
Foil 3rd age, Godly packs, back-to-back bosses and the great Coins drought — a roundup of the most jaw-dropping (and most cursed) booster pack pulls from OSRS TCG's launch weekend.
By OSRS Card Exchange Team · · 3 min read
Launch weekend of OSRS TCG was a non-stop reel of pack openings — hundreds of players ripping Standard Packs and screaming into chat with every reveal. We combed through the community chatter for the highlights: the trophies, the Godlies, the back-to-back bosses, and — because it's RuneScape — the spectacular dry streaks that kept everyone humble.
🏆 Foil trophies
Foils are the rarest, shiniest version of any card, and launch weekend produced some absolute cabinet pieces:

Resource • Weapon • General • Clue
A beautifully crafted sword forged by ancient blacksmiths.

Resource • Weapon
Used for mining.

Monster • Asgarnia
A huge war chief.

Monster • Desert
The cursed mother.
And the flex heard round the clan chat, from someone who pulled the least valuable foil imaginable and owned it:
Foil bronze med, I win, you can all log out now.
✨ Godly packs
Godly is the top rarity tier — roughly 1 in 150 cards — so a single Godly is a big deal. A few lucky rippers went well past that:
OK I got a god pack... I spooned it on pack 8.
My 11th Godly, damn.
Pack 8 for a god pack is the kind of early-account spoon that makes 300-pack-deep players quietly close the game.
🐉 3rd age & big-ticket non-foils
Even without the foil sparkle, some pulls stopped the chat cold:
- 3rd age axe and 3rd age pickaxe pulled by the same player — a matching 3rd age tool set.
- Two ursine chainmaces in one pack — a genuine double-take double-pull.
- Boss cards that unlocked whole new content: Great Olm ("combat unlocked"), Vorkath, the King Black Dragon, Prince Black Dragon and black demon.
- One player let their son open two packs and got the KBD and Prince Black Dragon back to back — beginner's luck runs in the family.

Monster
Ferocious. It's unnerving.

Monster • Fremennik
This won't be fun.

Monster • Wilderness
One of the biggest, meanest dragons around.

Resource • Wilderness
Not quite the full royalty yet.
🔥 The Wintertodt dragon axe
The famous ~1 in 10,000 dragon axe from the Wintertodt supply crate made an appearance too — the ultimate skilling spoon, and a reminder that in this mode the drops you earn while grinding are half the fun of the cards you pull.

Resource • Weapon • Fremennik • Kourend
A very powerful axe.
💰 The great Coins drought
No launch-weekend roundup is complete without the community's white whale: the Coins card. Some found it fast. Most... did not.

Resource • Clue • Barrows
Lovely money!
Woooo just got the Coins card — pack 180.
2,864 cards and I only just got Coins this morning.
The running gag that summed up the weekend — pull Coins, then realise you've unlocked nothing worth buying yet: "I've got nothing to buy with Coins tho, lmao."
💀 Hall of pain (the dry streaks)
For every spoon there was a soul grinding through the variance. These were celebrated just as loudly — as commiseration:
223 packs for an axe.
340 packs and I get a bronze pick.
1,393 unique cards unlocked and I'm still kicking giant rats for combat XP.
And the most relatable pain of all — when your collection is so stacked with rares that the commons become the rare pull: "The disappointment when I do not see any common cards in a pack."
The takeaway
Launch weekend proved what makes OSRS TCG tick: the highs are high (foil 3rd age, back-to-back bosses, pack-8 Godlies) and the lows are shared out loud (300 packs for a bronze pick). Every rip is a story — and the community turns both the wins and the droughts into content.
