Walkthrough overview

A brief summary of the quest, noting where each card is used. The OSRS Wiki has the full, authoritative walkthrough.

  1. 1

Speak to Almera in her house north-east of Baxtorian Falls. She asks you to check on her son Hudon, who is searching for treasure downstream.

  2. 2

Board the log raft outside her house, crash onto the island, and finish all the dialogue with Hudon so that Glarial's book spawns; read it.

  3. 3

Travel to Tree Gnome Village and navigate the hedge maze to a ladder; climb down and collect Glarial's pebble and amulet from the chests below.

  4. 4

Bank all prohibited items (weapons, armour, runes, arrows, logs), then use the pebble on Glarial's tombstone south-east of the falls and run past the high-level monsters to loot Glarial's urn.

  5. 5

Return to Almera's raft and crash again. Use a rope on the large grey rock, then on the dead tree, to climb to the waterfall ledge and enter the dungeon.

    • Rope
  6. 6

Run through the passages to reach the chalice room. Place six air, six earth and six water runes on the plinths, take the chalice, and claim the treasure to finish the quest.
