Speak to Lucien in the Flying Horse Inn in north-western East Ardougne. He gives you the Pendant of Lucien and asks you to retrieve the Staff of Armadyl from the Temple of Ikov.

Enter the temple south of the Ranging Guild. Reduce your weight to -1kg or less; the easiest method is to grab the boots of lightness from the western stairs (a light source is needed to descend, and a slash weapon such as a lit candle and knife to cut the web).

Wearing the pendant, cross the unsteady bridge over the lava (weight must be -1kg or less or you take damage) and take the lever on the far side.

Enter the southern ice chamber and search the chests to gather ice arrows, avoiding the level-61 ice spiders.

Head north again with the pendant, search then pull the trap lever, and confront the Fire Warrior of Lesarkus. Defeat him with the ice arrows; the limpwurt roots are consumed during the encounter.

Take the Staff of Armadyl. Either side with Lucien (defeat the Guardian of Armadyl) and hand him the staff at his house near Edgeville, or side with the Guardians of Armadyl and defeat Lucien instead.
