OSRS TCG King's Ransom — Old School RuneScape quest card mapping

Start: talk to Gossip.

Life has been quiet at the Sinclair Mansion since you discovered the murderer... too quiet. So quiet, in fact, that the family has gone! Suspicions are running high that the Sinclairs' recent departure is tied to the disappearance of King Arthur and his knights. But time is running short and clues are scarce, will you crack the case in time?

King's Ransom is a members Old School RuneScape quest rated Experienced. The OSRS TCG King's Ransom card list covers 7 of the items and monsters involved, including Black full helm, Black platebody and Law rune. This page pairs the quest with those cards and with the open player trades for them; the OSRS Wiki remains the authority on requirements and the walkthrough itself.

Walkthrough overview

A brief summary of the quest, noting where each card is used. The OSRS Wiki has the full, authoritative walkthrough.

  1. 1

Talk to Gossip outside the Sinclair Mansion north-west of Camelot to start, then speak to the guard about the disappearance of King Arthur.

  2. 2

Break into the mansion, gather the three pieces of evidence, and present them to the guard, then learn the Sinclair history from the town gossips.

  3. 3

At the trial, call the correct witnesses with the right questions to rebut the evidence and secure a not-guilty verdict for Anna.

  4. 4

Search the statue east of Camelot; Morgan Le Faye knocks you out and you wake in a jail with Merlin and the knights. Free Merlin via the vent.

  5. 5

Escape the jail: cast Telekinetic Grab on the guard for a hair clip, or use a lockpick, then solve the Mastermind-style lock puzzle.

    • Air rune
    • Law rune
  6. 6

Find the Holy Grail upstairs by solving the riddle and picking the correct container (the round purple box on the right).

  7. 7

Get an animate rock scroll from Wizard Cromperty, then enter the Black Knights' Fortress wearing full black armour, a bronze med helm and iron chainbody. Use the scroll on King Arthur with the Holy Grail and granite to free him and finish the quest.
