Forgettable Tale of a Drunken Dwarf is part 2 in the Rise of the Red Axe series, focusing on the dwarves and their capital city of Keldagrim. After the events in The Giant Dwarf, the Red Axe mining company has departed the city and set up a new headquarters in a remote underground location. Veldaban, the Commander of the Dwarven Black Guard in Keldagrim, wants you to investigate the case and find out if the Red Axe is planning anything nefarious. The problem is, the only lead he's got is an extremely drunken and kebab obsessed dwarf. Use your farming and brewing abilities to your advantage, then prepare to be perplexed by puzzles as you follow the trail to the Red Axe...

Walkthrough overview

    Travel to Keldagrim and talk to Veldaban in the Black Guard H.Q. to start the quest; he sends you to investigate the Red Axe by way of a drunken dwarf.

    Track down the drunken dwarf's friends (Khorvak, Gauss and the rowdy dwarf) to gather four kelda seeds, using beers to loosen them up.

    At the underground hops patch in West Keldagrim, ask Rind for permission, rake the weeds, plant the seeds with a dibber and wait 15-20 minutes for the kelda hops.

    Brew the kelda stout using barley malt, buckets of water and ale yeast (or a pot and 25 coins), and wait for it to ferment.

    Have the drunken dwarf drink it, then follow the reopened minecart tunnel and solve the coloured-stone track puzzles across Rooms 1-6, eavesdropping on the Red Axe before Grunsh wipes your memory.

    Report back to Veldaban, then go to the Laughing Miner pub in east Keldagrim, buy a kebab and beer, and consume them to trigger the final cutscene and finish the quest.
