Old School RuneScape minigame · OSRS TCG card mapping

A combat run rather than a set-up job: dig into six burial mounds, kill the Barrows brother in each, then fight down through the tunnels beneath to loot the chest at the centre. The more of the crypt you clear — brothers especially — the better the chest rewards.

Barrows is a members Old School RuneScape minigame needing Combat, found at The six burial mounds east of Mort'ton, in southern Morytania. The short version: a spade. This page maps Barrows to the OSRS TCG — the card game played through the RuneLite plugin — listing what you take in, grouped by what each item is for, with every item linked to its card. The OSRS Wiki remains the guide to playing it.

Before you can take part

  • RequiresCombatNo level gate, but the brothers hit hard — this is a mid-to-high combat activity in practice, not a beginner one.
  • RequiresPriest in PerilRequired to enter Morytania at all.
  • OptionalHis Faithful ServantsStarting it lets you dig into the crypts; completing it adds the minimap in the tunnels and gives Prayer experience.

The one thing you cannot do without

Barrows asks for almost nothing to get in — everything else is combat gear that depends entirely on your build. The single item the run cannot happen without is a spade, to dig into each mound.

  • RequiresA spade

Digs open each of the six mounds. There is no way in without one.

The six brothers

One brother waits in each mound, and each fights differently — Dharok hits harder the lower his own health, Ahrim casts, Karil shoots, Verac ignores prayer and armour. Killing all six is what unlocks the best chest rewards and is the goal of the His Faithful Servants miniquest. Every brother is a card.

  • RequiresAhrim the Blighted

The magic brother. Found in his own mound; drops the Ahrim's robe set.

  • RequiresDharok the Wretched

Hits harder the more damage he has taken — the most dangerous at low health. Drops the Dharok's set.

  • RequiresGuthan the Infested

Heals himself off the damage he deals. Drops the Guthan's set.

  • RequiresKaril the Tainted

The ranged brother. Drops the Karil's set and the bolt racks it uses.

  • RequiresTorag the Corrupted

A straightforward melee brother. Drops the Torag's set.

  • RequiresVerac the Defiled

Can hit through prayer and armour entirely. Drops the Verac's set.

The tunnels beneath

Between the brothers and the chest are the crypt's own wights. They add to the reward potential as you kill them, and a seventh brother can appear in the tunnels to ambush you. These are the monsters you meet down there that exist as cards.

What to actually bring

Barrows has no required kit beyond the spade — what you take is dictated by your combat build, and covering it properly is a strategy guide's job, not this page's. These are the supplies almost every setup wants, as cards.

Barrows — frequently asked

What is the minimum you need for Barrows?
A spade, plus Combat. Barrows asks for almost nothing to get in — everything else is combat gear that depends entirely on your build. The single item the run cannot happen without is a spade, to dig into each mound.
Do you need a quest for Barrows?
Priest in Peril is required. His Faithful Servants is optional.
Which OSRS TCG cards are tied to Barrows?
Every item on this page that exists in the catalogue is linked to its card, grouped by what it is for. Cards are pulled from packs in the OSRS TCG RuneLite plugin, and you can trade for the ones you are missing on OSRS Card Exchange.
Is there an OSRS TCG card for Barrows itself?
No. The OSRS TCG has cards for Old School RuneScape's items and monsters, not for its minigames — so there is no "Barrows" card. What this page maps is the other way round: the items Barrows asks you to bring, each one linked to the card that depicts it.
