Using the OSRS TCG Exchange plugin

The OSRS TCG Exchange RuneLite plugin adds two right-click options in game: Trade Cards on another player, and Exchange Cards on a Grand Exchange Clerk. This page covers both. It needs no login and no account — trades are brokered by your RuneScape name.

Trading cards with another player

  1. Right-click the player and choose Trade Cards, just beneath the game's own Trade with.
  2. A trade page opens in your browser straight away, showing a copyable party passphrase. The other player clicks Trade Cards on you and lands on the same page with the same passphrase — you don't have to wait for each other or accept anything.
  3. Join the same party.Paste the passphrase into RuneLite's built-in Partyplugin. Whoever enters it first creates the party; the other joins. You don't need to be near each other in game.
  4. Swap the cards.Open the OSRS TCG plugin's Collection album and send the other player a trade offer from the bar along the bottom. The cards change hands in the plugin's own Trade window — the exchange site never touches your cards, it only connects you.

Exchanging cards on the marketplace

  1. Right-click a Grand Exchange Clerk and choose Exchange Cards, beneath the clerk's Exchange option.
  2. The Card Exchange marketplace opens in your browser, where players post the cards they have and the cards they want.
  3. Make or accept an offer. When an exchange is matched you get a trade page with a party passphrase — the same Party-plugin step as above, and the cards again change hands in the OSRS TCG plugin's Trade window.

Good to know

  • The plugin only ever brokers a connection — it can't move your cards. Every card swap happens inside the OSRS TCG plugin's own Trade window.
  • If a traded player has a Card Exchange account under that RuneScape name, the trade page shows their avatar and collection so you can see what they hold.
  • Install both plugins from the RuneLite Plugin Hub. See getting started for the full setup.
