Walkthrough overview

    Speak to Grish at the entrance of Jiggig (south of Castle Wars). He gives you super restores and cooked chompies and asks you to investigate the risen zogres. Talk to the ogre guard to the east.

    Enter the zogre cave, avoiding or curing the disease from zogres and skogres, and follow the trail to recover a tankard and clues pointing to Yanille.

  3. 3

    In Yanille, use the tankard on the Dragon Inn bartender, then speak to Zavistic Rarve at the Wizards' Guild to learn the wizard Sithik is involved.

    Search Sithik's room in the guest house, read the books, and use papyrus on him to draw a portrait that incriminates him.

    Prepare for Slash Bash: he is only fully vulnerable to brutal arrows (fired from a comp ogre bow) or takes half damage from Crumble Undead. Make or buy the bow and arrows if needed.

    Return to Grish, unlock the ability to equip the comp ogre bow, then head into the burial cave, defeat Slash Bash and retrieve the relics to complete the quest.
