Walkthrough overview

A brief summary of the quest, noting where each card is used. The OSRS Wiki has the full, authoritative walkthrough.

  1. 1

Talk to Regulus Cento outside Varrock's east gate to travel to Varlamore, then speak to Ennius or Furia Tullus at the Sunrise Palace and head to the temple to meet Metzli.

  2. 2

Descend into the crypt to find the prince, fighting cultists along the way.

  3. 3

Return to the Tullus twins, who task you with collecting six Knights of Varlamore scattered around the city (Arrun and Claudia, Nel, Mezan, Velam and Azali).

  4. 4

Complete each knight's task: recover a stolen amulet by pickpocketing the thief, find the smugglers' crate, spar with Mezan using two combat styles or a poisoned weapon, and sober up Azali at the fountain.

  5. 5

With all knights returned, investigate the chests in the Kualti Headquarters for an incriminating letter and report back to the twins to trigger the betrayal cutscene.

  6. 6

Speak to Regulus Cento by the quetzals, feed Renu the quetzal feed to unlock the Quetzal Transport System, and fly to the Teomat to speak to Prince Itzla and finish the quest.
