Sigmund is the advisor to the Duke of Lumbridge, but the Duke does not always take his advice. When part of the cellar wall collapses the Duke insists the damage was caused by an earthquake, but Sigmund is worried about a monster attack. If you investigate this mystery it will lead you through treacherous caves to uncover something lost by the Gods for thousands of years.

Talk to Sigmund near Duke Horacio in Lumbridge Castle, question the residents until one mentions a big-eyed goblin, then get the Duke's permission to investigate the cellar.

In the cellar, use a pickaxe on the rubble on the eastern side, then explore the tunnel with a light source to find a brooch.

Show the brooch to Reldo in the Varrock Palace library, read A History of the Goblin Race, then learn the goblin salute from the Generals at Goblin Village.

Return through the Goblin Maze with your light source, follow the correct path, and perform the Goblin Bow emote to Mistag to meet the Dorgeshuun.

Report to the Duke, pickpocket Sigmund for a key, and find H.A.M. robes in his chest, exposing him as a member of Humans Against Monsters.

Take the Duke's signed peace treaty back to Mistag and Ur-tag to sign, completing the quest with a cutscene in the Lumbridge dining room.
