Over a thousand years ago, King Shayzien VII ordered an expedition to Mount Quidamortem. The expedition never returned and it was assumed that all members perished in the field. However, a recent discovery suggests this may not have been the case. Phileas Rimor is the descendant of the expedition leader and he is desperate to discover the truth. Join him and delve into a conspiracy a thousand years in the making in "Tale of the Righteous".

Walkthrough overview

Speak to Phileas Rimor in his house west of The Cloak and Stagger tavern in Shayzien to start. He tells of his ancestor Magnus Rimor's lost expedition to Mount Quidamortem.

Go to the Arceuus Library and teleport to the Archive via Archeio. Speak to Pagida, then access the abandoned prison in the Tower of Magic and solve the strange-device puzzle to obtain a dusty note.

Return to Phileas, then speak to Lord Shiro Shayzien in the War Tent of the Shayzien Encampment to gain permission for the expedition.

Travel to the top of Mount Quidamortem, bringing ranged, magic and melee for the fights. Use a pickaxe and rope to complete the expedition, defeating the Corrupt Lizardman.

Report your discovery to Lord Shiro Shayzien, who asks for the journal from Phileas as proof.

Return to find Phileas's house trashed and him missing. Report back to Lord Shayzien, who opens an investigation, to complete the quest.
