Walkthrough overview

    Talk to Reldo in the Varrock Palace library, search the bookcase for the Shield of Arrav book, read it, and report back to him.

    Choose a gang to infiltrate. The quest requires a second player joining the opposite gang, as each recovers one half of the shield.

  3. 3

    Phoenix Gang route: pay Baraek 20 coins to find the hideout, join via Straven, and deal with Jonny the Beard (level 2) to obtain your shield half.

    Black Arm Gang route: join via Charlie the Tramp and Katrine, then use the weapon store key to steal two Phoenix crossbows, defeating the Weaponsmaster (level 23).

    Take your shield half to Curator Haig Halen for a certificate half, trade halves with your partner, and combine them into a completed certificate.

  6. 6

    Give the completed certificate to King Roald in Varrock Palace to receive the reward and finish the quest.
