There is a man in Varrock who needs a bit of help. He is of noble heritage, but without his family's crest, he can't prove it. Unfortunately, his three sons took the crest with them when they left, scattering all across Gielinor.

Walkthrough overview

    Talk to Dimintheis in the fenced-off area of south-east Varrock to start, then head to Catherby to find his son Caleb.

    Give Caleb the five fish for his salad — shrimp, salmon, tuna, bass and swordfish — to receive the first crest piece.

    Find Avan at the northern Al Kharid mine. Mine perfect gold with a pickaxe and, with two cut rubies plus the ring and necklace moulds, have the perfect jewellery made to earn his crest piece.

    Go to Johnathon upstairs in the Jolly Boar Inn north-east of Varrock and cure his poison with any poison cure. He sends you to kill the demon Chronozon for the last piece.

    Fight Chronozon, casting all four Blast spells (one of each element) to defeat him and claim the third crest piece.

  6. 6

    Combine the three pieces into the Family Crest and return it to Dimintheis in Varrock to finish the quest.
