The Ardougne Zoo is always looking for new specimens, but one of their anticipated new attractions - a ferret from the north - has been proving elusive. One of the Zoo's more eccentric freelance specimen hunters is reported to be on the case, but after setting out for the far western reaches, somewhere between the Piscatoris Fishing Colony and the Tree Gnome Stronghold, nothing more has been heard from him. Will you be able to use your skills as a Hunter to track him down? What else will you discover at the mountain known as Eagles' Peak?

Walkthrough overview

    Talk to Charlie at the Ardougne Zoo. He asks you to find the missing huntsman Nickolaus near the mountains west of the Tree Gnome Stronghold.

  2. 2

    Head to Eagles' Peak, inspect the books at the tent to get a bird book, and read it to receive a metal feather. Enter the peak's dungeon and speak to the trapped Nickolaus.

    Gather 10 giant eagle feathers, then take them with swamp tar, yellow dye and 50 coins to Asyff at the Varrock Fancy Dress Shop to make two eagle disguises.

    Return to the dungeon and collect the three feathers to open the eagle door: solve the winch net-trap for the bronze feather.

    Follow the trail puzzle for the silver feather, killing or threatening the kebbit that guards it, and solve the bird-seed and lever puzzle for the gold feather.

  6. 6

    Open the eagle door, speak to Nickolaus to learn ferret-catching, catch a ferret, and return it to Charlie to finish the quest.
