A rift in the ground has opened up releasing all manner of strange monsters into the lands near the Digsite. A sorrowful mother waits at the top of the rift for her long lost son, who has been missing for 25 years. You can journey down into the rift for an adventure full of twisted monsters all created from the mind of a young boy driven to madness through incarceration.

Walkthrough overview

Head east of Varrock and speak to Launa, then use a rope on the rift and climb down to enter Tolna's rift.

In the Rage room, take each weapon from the rack in turn to kill its matching angry monster and fill the rage meter.

In the Fear room, search the dark holes and kill the five fear reapers that jump out.

In the Confusion room, attack the confusion beasts until you find and kill the real one, repeating until all doors clear.

In the Hopelessness room, kill each of the five hopeless creatures three times, then cross the Bridge of Hope.

Defeat the three-headed Tolna in the final room to turn him human again and complete the quest.
