- RequiresFletchingNo single entry level — the Fletching level needed scales with the wood tier you build with, from oak up to redwood, so the lowest tier is achievable early on.
- RequiresVale Totems (miniquest)The miniquest that unlocks the activity — completed once, not repeated.
The one tool you need
Building and carving a totem is done with a knife, the same tool used across most Fletching activities.
- RequiresA knife
Used to build and carve every totem.
The logs you build totems from
Higher wood tiers need a higher Fletching level but start with more durability, so a totem needs fewer repairs before it collapses. Each tier can also be carved into a shortbow, longbow, shield or stock shape — purely cosmetic, and doesn't change how the activity plays.
- Any ofLogs to build a totem
Any tier works if your Fletching level allows it — an oak totem starts with 2 durability, a redwood one with 7.
What you earn — offerings and rare rewards
Ents visit completed totems and leave offerings behind; every 100 collected can be rummaged for a research point and a random reward.
- OptionalVale offerings
Left by ents at a decorated totem — rummaged in batches of 100 for a research point and a reward roll.
- Any ofRare rewards from rummaging(optional)
The Fletching knife is worth calling out — it substitutes for a regular knife and speeds up carving once earned.
