The Fight Cave has no formal entry requirement and no restriction on what you carry in — unlike the Inferno, there is no fee and no banned item. What you take is entirely a build question this page won't try to answer.
The waves you'll fight
63 waves send a fixed, escalating sequence of TzHaar monsters at you, four of which return as healers once Jad drops below half health. None of these is a checklist to bring — you fight whatever the wave spawns — but every one that exists as a card is below.
- OptionalTz-Kih
The small flying type that opens the wave sequence, level 22.
- OptionalTz-Kek
A hopping type that splits into more Tz-Kih on death if not finished properly.
- OptionalTok-Xil
A ranged attacker, one of the more dangerous mid-wave threats.
- OptionalYt-MejKot
A tanky melee type with high defence for its wave.
- OptionalKet-Zek
A hard-hitting magic attacker, the toughest regular wave monster before Jad.
- OptionalYt-HurKot
Four of these spawn once TzTok-Jad drops below half health and heal him if left near him or in combat with the player nearby — they don't have to be killed to finish the Cave, but leaving them alive risks Jad healing back up.
The final boss
Wave 63 is the whole point of the run: a one-on-one duel with TzTok-Jad, whose attacks are accurate enough to kill an underprepared player in a single hit.
- RequiresTzTok-Jad
Level 702, with a max hit of 95–97 across all three combat styles. Low health for a boss of its threat, but unforgiving of a missed prayer switch.
What defeating Jad earns you
Beating TzTok-Jad pays out a fixed amount of Tokkul and the fire cape itself, with a rare pet chance on top.
- OptionalFire cape
The reward, and one of the best melee capes available outside the Inferno's infernal cape.
- OptionalTokkul
8,032 Tokkul paid on defeating Jad, on top of anything picked up along the way.
- OptionalTzrek-jad
A 1/200 pet chance on the Jad kill (1/100 on a Slayer task).
