OSRS TCG Mage Training Arena — Old School RuneScape minigame card mapping

A Magic minigame in four rooms, each training a different kind of spell — telekinetic, alchemy, enchanting and graveyard. Casting there earns four colours of Pizazz Points, which buy the arena's rewards: the Infinity robes, the wands, and the Mage's book.

Mage Training Arena is a members Old School RuneScape minigame needing Magic 7, found at North of the Emir's Arena, south of Al Kharid. This page is the OSRS TCG Mage Training Arena card mapping — the card game played through the RuneLite plugin — listing what you take in, grouped by what each item is for, with every item linked to its card. The OSRS Wiki remains the guide to playing it.

Before you can take part

  • RequiresMagic 77 Magic lets you into the minigame but only for a single spell; 33 (for Telekinetic Grab) opens all four rooms, and the best rewards need much higher — 83 to wear the full Infinity set, 60 for the Master wand.

What you need to take part

Almost nothing beyond your Magic level. The four rooms hand out most of what they need inside, so this is a low-kit minigame gated by level rather than bank — 7 Magic to enter for a single spell, 33 to open all four rooms. The only thing you supply is runes for the rooms that don't provide their own, below.

Runes for the rooms

Two of the four rooms supply their runes; two do not. Bring runes for whichever you are training, matched to the spell that room wants.

What your Pizazz Points buy

Each room pays a different colour of Pizazz Point, and the rewards cost a mix of colours — so a full set means training all four rooms, not grinding one. These are the rewards that exist as cards, and they are the reason to be here.

Cards are pulled from packs in the OSRS TCG RuneLite plugin, and you can trade for the ones you are missing on OSRS Card Exchange.
Is there an OSRS TCG card for Mage Training Arena itself?
No. The OSRS TCG has cards for Old School RuneScape's items and monsters, not for its minigames — so there is no "Mage Training Arena" card. What this page maps is the other way round: the items Mage Training Arena asks you to bring, each one linked to the card that depicts it.
