Before you can take part

Getting there, and what to bring

Reaching the Colosseum at all requires having completed Children of the Sun, the quest that opens Varlamore — a real gate, though it's a quest requirement the site's data pipeline for this page didn't capture structurally, so it's noted here in prose rather than invented as a field. Beyond that, there is no fixed item requirement: every wave shows you the loot on offer before it starts, and you choose whether to press on and risk it or bank what you have and leave. What you fight in is a combat-build question this page won't try to answer.

The enemies you'll face

Waves draw from a randomised pool of Varlamorean fighters, with reinforcements arriving if a wave takes too long. None of these is a specific kill requirement — the wave composition is randomised — but every one that exists as a card is below.

The final boss

Wave 12 is Sol Heredit himself, leaping down from his throne as the arena's centre closes off around the fight.

  • RequiresSol Heredit

Primarily weak to slash, with two AoE melee attack patterns that ignore Protect from Melee. Defeating him — or ending a run at any point — opens the rewards chest.

What the chest can hold

Unique rewards start appearing from wave 4 onward, with better odds the further a run goes. These are the unique drops the chest can award, on top of ordinary loot.

What is the minimum you need for Fortis Colosseum?
Nothing in particular — there is no item or level requirement. Reaching the Colosseum at all requires having completed Children of the Sun, the quest that opens Varlamore — a real gate, though it's a quest requirement the site's data pipeline for this page didn't capture structurally, so it's noted here in prose rather than invented as a field. Do you need a quest for Fortis Colosseum?
Children of the Sun is required. The free intro quest to Varlamore, required to reach the Colosseum. It is members-only.
Which OSRS TCG cards are tied to Fortis Colosseum?
Every item on this page that exists in the catalogue is linked to its card, grouped by what it is for. Cards are pulled from packs in the OSRS TCG RuneLite plugin, and you can trade for the ones you are missing on OSRS Card Exchange.
Is there an OSRS TCG card for Fortis Colosseum itself?
No. The OSRS TCG has cards for Old School RuneScape's items and monsters, not for its minigames — so there is no "Fortis Colosseum" card. What this page maps is the other way round: the items Fortis Colosseum asks you to bring, each one linked to the card that depicts it.
